Slacker! It has been almost a month since I devoted a little time to delivering a RAK (Random Act of Kindness). To make up for my derelict actions I delivered two RAK's at work Tuesday evening. The white tissue paper holding the bath fizz ball was jazzed up with burgundy ribbon left over from Christmas and looked very valentine day'ish. The package of three little candles was wrapped the same way. I figured since it was after 5:30pm dropping off the RAK's would be easy and straight forward. Weaving my way through the maze of cubicles I was fortunate that the controller was still tied up in a meeting and was able to pass the gift to one of the staff, sitting outside his office. The second RAK was a little tougher as the employees in that department understand overtime more than they do quitting time. Cubicle row after cubicle row had at least one person sitting there working. Finally, where no one could see over the cubicle wall I located my recipient and left my RAK for them to discover with a quizzical look on their face come morning.
