Brain Fitness and Giveaway

The 2011 brain fitness calendar John brought home is full of little ideas and games to keep the mind fit.  Just like your body, certain types of activity keep the mind sharp.  Think of it as brain exercising.  "Having a clear, active mind at any age is important but as we get older, it can mean the difference between dependence and independent living."   Here are some brain exercises for you (answers at the end of the post)

Wow, I need to exercise my brain more.
And I thought it was "bread". Makes sense since I am a carb addict.

I sat here forever on the math puzzle before I gave up.. argg. I will sigh up, my grandmother suffers from last stage alzeimhers.

i thought of dread too. we did puzzles like this in elem school, they were always so fun.
