A Very Boring Lunch

Imagine this...going to lunch and talking about nothing but running.  Boring?  Absolutely not!  I had the pleasure of meeting Adam again from The Boring Runner, his wife and baby for lunch today and we talked non-stop running. It was awesome talking to someone passionate about running.  Adam and I talked about Ashland Dave, podcast host of Running in the Center of the Universe, and Dave's blister prone feet and recent accomplishment of  a 50 mile race in the Florida Keys.  We talked about Boston and my uber-high expectations of the race and how disappointed I was that I allowed myself to walk as compared to just slowing down the pace.   We talked and talked running but never got to the topic of his poop shorts (thank goodness).  Before I knew it, lunch was over and we had barely tread on all the running topics we could blab about.   I'll have to wait until Adam's Sweat Your Thorns Off 5K in July before talking his ear off about running again.

Happy Running!

Our boring life!!! It is boring to run, to log the trainings, to race, to post and comment the running blogs, to meet running friends, to read RW, to collect medals/shirts/loots of war.......
What a boring life!

50 mile race in the Florida Keys and Boston Marathon! How could this lunch be boring? :)

I had the pleasure of meeting Strewth, an Australian Blogger friend, three years ago. We talked about running paths along the countryside, running drills, wonderful places to run, races in the world and other challenges. Boring! :)
Have nice runs, Christina!
