Back on the Road With Three Miles

Yesterday I ran three miles. Three miles is usually very low mileage for me but I was pleased to be out running.   It felt slow, sluggish and each left leg swing forward I felt it the leg catch. The real test was later in the afternoon and in the morning.  How would it feel then?

There is still tightness and pulling but I'm optimistic that I'm past the worst of my hamstring injury. Fingers crossed.  I have 2 weeks to get "back in shape", or at least shape to run on the Avon Pass in Ragnar Relay Wasatch Back.  Almost 8 miles uphill on a dirt road.

If three miles is hard on flat ground, 8 miles is going to be interesting.

Happy Running!
