I love trying to imagine what someone’s face looks like when they receive a RAK.
Are they puzzled on what it is?
Why it was given?
Do they look at the card twice?
Do they look around to see if anyone is standing there watching?
The next RAK recipient isn’t in my office but lives on the east coast and she should be receiving flowers sometime tomorrow.
I would love to see her face to receive flowers from someone she’s never heard of from sunny Arizona. Will she be there to open the door and receive the FedEx? Will she look down the street and see if someone is standing there?
The recipient is the wife of Steve Runner, host of Phedipidations, and it is a thank you to her for her support of Steve. I am a Phedipidations groupie and wanted to send my appreciation for what she does so that I can listen to a great podcast and learn more about running.

Thank you so much! My wife loved the flowers, and they are beautiful! That was an incredibly thoughtful gift. I wouldn't want to produce the show if she didn't approve; but as I've mentioned: she's my biggest supporter (and love of my life); so thank you so much for your very kind and thoughtful gift to her!
She loves them, and I appreciate your kindness!!
It's an honor to run with you!
Happy Holidays!!

FYI I love the RAK idea, although I tend to use "Paying it Forward." I plan to do that more in 2010
