I've had a good and bad week of running. On Tuesday I went to the track and actually did a workout. On Wednesday I did a trail run. Both went really, really well. The problem is I pushed too hard and my quad thingy is more. It hadn't completely went away but was feeling better. It goes away once warmed up so I keep running and worrying about it.
On Sunday I get to do a long run with Alice, who I ran Ragnar with. It will be fun to just run along and talk with her. During Ragnar, although 24 hours are spent in the van with someone, you never get to run with them and carry on a conversation.
The pool was replastered yesterday and there are 2 hoses gradually filling up the pool. Its a ginormous pool with a deep, deep end and will take 2 days to fill. Come summer I want to have group runs start at our house and people can use the pool afterwards. It will be fun. I have ordered a Keurig personal serving coffee maker for people. I don't drink coffee so I pretty much bought it for the runners and to be able to offer coffee.
Happy Running!

That is a great idea :)
I am jealous of the pool! After my run yesterday I kept thinking how I wish I could go to a pool and float around with a noodle after my run. I have a Keurig and LOVE it! So far the hands-down favoite coffee is Chocolate-glazed donut flavor. :)
OOh, a pool after a run sounds wonderful!
Wow your pool looks so beautiful! I wish our temps would go back up and I could dream of swimming.
My running week was a little short on miles. Ugh! I still hope tp get 9.5 today but that will leave my under 40 and I was wanting to get back to 45 - 50+ miles a week. After big races I often have trouble finding a schedule till I register for my next race.
I love all the comments I am getting on my question about what people like i blogs. I follow tooooo many and feel bad when I miss loads of them.
Have a great weekend! (oh my army son is in AZ now)
The runners will love the pool and coffee. It will definitely make me run from someone's home.
i loooove my keurig coffee maker. no clean up required :)
also i would love to join your summer running group, especially if a pool is available!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts that keep you going through the hard miles over on my blog!
This sounds like so much fun! Nice cool water is the best when one is hot.
