Get Your Bootie in Line

Halloween is the start of it all.  Candy in the office.  Bite size candy in the stores screaming bring me home.  I don't dare buy halloween candy too early because I might open the bag and once the bag is open it's empty within days.

Next up is Thanksgiving with yummy pie's and cranberry salad.  Christmas is homemade baked goodies and then New Years with onion dip and potato chips.    It's an eat-fest for the next 3 months.

The best way to combat the temptation and negatate some of the holiday calories is to sign up for Amanda's Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge from Run to the Finish.  From November 19th thru January 6th you can earn points towards prize for exercising and staying fit and focused during the holidays.

Read all about her awesome challenge here and Bust Your Bootie this holiday season.

I think I busted my booty during my last long run...

That's really a good idea, Christina! If I planned to run races from November to January My body wouldn't get weight in December (Christmas time) :)

As you saw, last Sunday, after I had run a 30 km race around Ostia (Rome's west surrondings) I didn't get a good loot. Next race I'll try to get a better loot and ... I'll show you it :)

Have nice runs, Christina!

Luckily we don't see much of Halloween here in SA and also don't have Thanksgiving. I will still look into Amanda's challenge and might sign up anyway. I must admit that December and January are always two of my high mileage months...summer here by us.
