The course was quite hilly and the last hill was steep and I'm not sure of the official mileage. My Garmin showed 3.82, the website said 3.77, 3.97 and 4 miles. I finished in 28:32, 21st overall (out of 377) 2nd in my age group and 4th female. At the finish they had chili, chips and salsa and hot chocolate. After the race we went to a friends house and sat in front of the fire. It was a perfect evening.
Even Santa showed up to run the race and Mrs. Claus took out picture. Santa wanted to explain his button.
"What's does it mean when there is a red circle with a line through it?"
"No" I replied.
Santa said Stop
"Now, what's the letter on the inside." Santa asked
I answered. It's an L.
Santa said now put it all together.
"No stop L" I asked puzzingly
Santa shook his head...no.
Then it came me....oh. No L....NOEL
Santa's so clever. I'm not as clever and it took me a minute.

What a fantastic race! I am not much of a racer, but I am sure I would seriously consider this one. Fun!

Running in the dark is wonderful! Great race and congrats on your time taken of 28:32!
Congrats on your time Christina and placing second in your AG! Love the luminarias.......looks like a combination of the St Lucia candles Swedish women wear on their heads (around now), and the stunning luminarias we saw in Alberqueque last Christmas.
What a very cool race! And congrats on the AG win!
I love all your stocking stuffer ideas, I might have to drop some hints! Have a great week!
