Step Forward; Step Back

My optimism from yesterday faded as the evening wore on and was completely gone by morning.  The discomfort on my ankle and leg came back full force last night and this morning I opted, after many tears, to not go for a bike ride.  The rest will do it good but not sure what it does for my mental state.  New day....keep moving forward.

Its tough to go through these ups and downs, but that is the life of an athlete. Injuries happen. You arent pushing the envelope if you never get injured. This will pass, you will heal, you will get better. be patient , and try not to be down about it.

That's too bad! No fun, but you will heal. It's not nearly as fun to a runner, but when I couldn't run, or bike, I started doing more exercises with weights or anything else I could do. It helped a little.
