This is taper week before my half marathon next Sunday. I'm not feeling very confident about the race compared to where I wanted to be with my conditioning and speed. Because of that I've been slack about eating well. Ragnar last weekend took a lot out of me and while I feel more human getting caught up on sleep, my legs are still tired.
Tuesday- 2 easy miles, jog a lap, do some situps/push up/etc
Wednesday- 6 easy miles on the canal
Thursday- 4 goal paced. Managed 7:54 pace.
Friday - off
Saturday- 6 at 8:09 pace
Total Miles 18.90
Eating: Poor. Give myself a D
Core: Not too bad. Got in a day's worth at track and did situp/pushups 2 other days.
Goals for next week:
Eat better and continue with the taper.
